The Tokyo Marathon Foundation, in collaboration with ASUENE Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), the Sustainability Official Partner of the Tokyo Marathon 2026, has conducted a pre-event assessment of CO2 emissions associated with the operation of the Tokyo Marathon 2026 (to be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026), based on data from the 2025 edition of the event.*

This initiative marks the first phase of the three-year sustainability partnership spanning from 2026 to 2028.

* The Tokyo Marathon 2025 welcomed approximately 38,000 runners.
