Important information for Tokyo Marathon 2027 runners and volunteers can be found here.
Participants who declare an estimated finish time of 3:00:00 or faster at the time of entry are required to upload a finisher certificate or official record (net time accepted) verifying that they have achieved one of the following results at an event held between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026:
・Marathon : Within 3:00:00
・Half Marathon : Within 1:25:00
* For marathons, a finisher certificate or official record that includes a split time at the half point will also be accepted.
* The course of the event from which the record was obtained is not required to be certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF).
* Records measured solely by running apps, GPS watches, or similar devices will not be accepted.
* A screenshot or image of race result records is also acceptable.
* If any falsification, fraudulent information, or deficiencies are identified in the submitted documents, or if the required documents are not submitted, participant may be assigned to start from a rear corral.
* If multiple records are submitted, only the most recently submitted finisher certificate or official record will be used for verification.
* Accepted file formats are JPEG and PDF.
Successful applicants will receive further information from October onward.
The start corral will be determined as follows:
①Elite Athlete and Para Athlete
②General participants who have declared an estimated finish time of 3:00:00 or faster and submitted a valid qualifying record
(ranked by estimated finish time, fastest first).
③General participants (ranked in order of fastest estimated finish time)

The personal information provided will be used for only the purpose of verifying times and will not be disclosed to any third parties. It will be managed responsibly by the organizer.
