The Tokyo Marathon Foundation’s sustainability initiative, “RUN CYCLE SQUARE,” will be featured at the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2026.
At the event venue, we will introduce our environmentally friendly event operations, the joy of cheering on runners, and our mission in creating a safe and secure event.
There will be hands-on programs that people of all ages can enjoy – including collecting/buying back used running shoes, creating one-of-a-kind cheering items by recycling waste materials, making original Tokyo Marathon recycled sandals by recycling hard-to-distribute shoe soles and used tires, as well as life-saving education programs.
