Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - Suidobashi - Ueno-hirokoji - Kanda - Nihombashi - Asakusa Kaminarimon Gate - Ryogoku - Monzen-nakacho - Ginza - Tamachi - Hibiya - Tokyo Station/Gyoko-dori Ave.
(This course is certified by the JAAF, AIMS and World Athletics.)

* An official 40 km record will also be recognized. However, only finishers who are registered athletes with the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) are eligible

Competition Rules
  1. (1) The races will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the World Athletics, JAAF and the Race Organizer.
    World Athletics Road Race Label Regulations also applies to the Tokyo Marathon, which has been certified by the World Athletics as a Platinum Label.
    Doping controls and post-race shoe inspections will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of World Athletics.
  2. (2) World Para Athletics Rules and Regulations and the competition rules of the Tokyo Marathon apply to Para Athletes.
    Doping control will be conducted in accordance with World Para Athletics Anti-Doping Regulations.
Cut-off Times & Start Times
  • Marathon: 7 hours(Start: 9:10 a.m. / Finish: 4:10 p.m.)
    Wheelchair Marathon: 2 hours 30 minutes(Start: 9:05 a.m. / Finish: 11:35 a.m.)
  • * The official time will be measured from the starting gun.
  • * There are some Cut-off points for traffic control, security, and race operations.
    Participants who fail to reach a cut-off point by the designated time, or who fall significantly behind the race pace at any point on the course, may be required to discontinue the race.

Eligibility

Those who are 19 years of age or older as of the event date (March 7, 2027), having been born on or before March 7, 2008, who meet the following eligibility requirements and are approved by the Organizer.

* Includes those who have transferred or been granted the right through events conducted by the organizer for the Tokyo Marathon.

  1. (1) General
    Those who is capable of completing the race within 6 hours and 30 minutes. (Male, Female and Non-binary)
  2. (2) People with disabilities
    Those who is capable of completing the race within 6 hours and 30 minutes. (Male, Female and Non-binary)
    * Those who are unable to run independently due to disabilities are allowed to run with one guide runner. (Guide animals are not permitted.)
  3. (3) People with disabilities (Wheelchair)
    Wheelchair user is capable of completing the race within 2 hours and 30 minutes using a racing wheelchair. (Male, Female and Non-binary)
  4. (4) Duo Team
    A two-person team consisting of a Rider and a Pusher, capable of completing the race within 6 hours and 30 minutes, in which the Rider uses a specialized buggy that has been safely customized for running. (Male, Female and Non-binary)
  5. (5) Semi-Elite
    Athlete who meets the requirements set forth by the "RUN as ONE - Tokyo Marathon 2027". (Male, Female)
  6. (6) Elite *Entry will be in December
    • ・Athlete, registered with the JAAF in fiscal 2026 who meets the special requirements set forth by the organizer. (Male, Female)
    • ・Invited Athletes: National and international runners nominated by the organizer and/or the JAAF. (Male, Female)
  7. (7) Para Athlete
    • ・Athletes who are registered with a para athletics organization affiliated with the Japan Para Sports Association for the 2026 fiscal year,
      hold a valid sport class as of race day, and meets the special requirements set forth by the organizer. (Male, Female)
    • ・Invited Athletes: National and international runners nominated by the organizer and/or a para athletics organization affiliated with the Japan Para Sports Association.

    Eligible Classes:

    1. ① Visually Impaired: T11/T12; Wheelchair: T53/T54
    2. ② All other classes recognized under the classification system of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

*For the Wheelchair Division, a racing wheelchair refers to a wheelchair that complies with the specifications set forth in the latest World Para Athletics Rules and Regulations applicable on race day.

  • (3) Selection
    • - Once the entry exceeds the field size, the entry will be chosen by random drawing.
    • - The selection result will be announced through "My Entry".

    • - A selection for each entry will be as follows

      • 3-1) ONE TOKYO Premium Member Entry and ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member Entry

        If the entry exceeds the field size of 3,000, a drawing will be conducted.

        Once the entry exceeds the field size, a random drawing will be conducted by following flows.

          * For the Tokyo Marathon 2027, runner must enter as a ONE TOKYO Member and have been unsuccessful in three consecutive applications for the Tokyo Marathon 2024, 2025 and 2026

        • 2, Tokyo resident draw (Field size:1,000)

          * This is for those who entered through the domestic site and residents of Tokyo (at the time of entry)

        • 3, General Entry draw(Including "People with Disabilities:500", "People with Disabilities(Wheelchair):15", and "Duo Team:5".)
      • 3-3) Charity Runner Entry
        Individuals (including corporate donors) who have donated at least the minimum amount specified by a designated charity program (organization) and have applied to participate as Charity Runners. (Field size: 5,000).

        * Those who would like to run as a charity runners will not be allowed to enter any other entries under any circumstances.

      • 3-4) Semi-Elite Entry The selection will be based on the target number system (Field size: 280).

        * The qualification time for entry will be set so that the number of entry is around the field size.

  • (4) Payment:
    • - Selected runners and entry ticket holders including the Tokyo Marathon deferred entry, must complete the event fee payment by the deadline.
      The entry will be void if payment is not received by the deadline.
    • * Payment only available by credit card or by a specified online financial service.
  • (5) Other:
    • - If the spot open after the selection, the additional draw will be conducted for "ONE TOKYO Premium Member" and/or "ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member" as of October 31, 2026.
    • - Separate application will be necessary for a guide runner.(Scheduled to be in December)
Submission of Records

Participants who declare an estimated finish time of 3:00:00 or faster at the time of entry are required to upload a finisher certificate or official record verifying that they have achieved one of the following results at an event held between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026:
The submission method and deadline will be announced at a later date.

  • ・Marathon : Within 3:00:00
  • ・Half Marathon : Within 1:25:00
  • * For marathons, a finisher certificate or official record that includes a split time at the half point will also be accepted.
  • * The course of the event from which the record was obtained is not required to be certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF).
  • * Records measured solely by running apps, GPS watches, or similar devices will not be accepted.
  • * A screenshot or image of race result records is also acceptable.
  • * If any falsification, fraudulent information, or deficiencies are identified in the submitted documents, or if the required documents are not submitted, participant may be assigned to start from a rear corral.
  • * If multiple records are submitted, only the most recently submitted finisher certificate or official record will be used for verification.
  • * Accepted file formats are JPEG and PDF. The maximum file size is 10 MB.
Record
  • Marathon
    • 1) Elite, Para Athletes, Semi-Elite and Wheelchair records are based on gun time (gross time).
    • 2) For all other participants, both the gross time (from the starting gun) and the net time (from crossing the start line) will be recorded.
Award
  • (1) Elite : The top three Men and Women
  • (2) Para Athlete : The top three Men and Women(Award-eligible classes: Visually Impaired (T11/T12) and Wheelchair (T53/T54).)
  • (3) RUN as ONE - Tokyo Marathon 2027 "Wild Card Award": Semi-Elite top three Men and Women
  • (4) Next Generation Athlete Award 2027: the top Men and Women belonging to The Inter-University Athletics Union of Japan.
    * All awards for the above category are based on gun (gross) time.
Prize

Prize money for Elite Athletes and Para Athletes will be awarded separately based on their race results.

  1. (1) The event is subject to cancellation if a cancellation request is received from respective authorities and agencies.
  2. (2) The event is subject to cancellation due to natural disaster or in a situation in which delivering a safe event is difficult.

  2. (2) This event shall adhere to all national laws and regulations.
  3. (3) All participants must agree and abide to all regulations regarding entry.
  4. (4) Please take all possible precautions to ensure that you are in good physical condition before participating,
    such as practicing well and undergoing a medical examination in advance.
  5. (5) This outlined information is set forth for the Tokyo Marathon 2027.

Event Regulations

* These Terms and Conditions have been drafted in Japanese and translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese version and any translated version, the provisions and interpretation of the Japanese version shall prevail.

The regulations with which the Tokyo Marathon 2027 applicants and participating runners must comply are established in the Event Regulations.

  • 1. This event will be carried out while abiding to all domestic laws and regulations.
  • 2. In addition to the Event Regulations, the event will adhere to the all other rules and regulations set forth by the event organizer.
  • 3. Except in the event of intentional or gross negligence, the organizer shall not be held in any way responsible for any of the following.
    • (1) Illness, an epidemic and/or accidents (except emergency treatment).
    • (2) Loss and/or damage of personal property.
    • (3) Late arrival to the race due to trouble with public transportation and/or poor road conditions.
  • 4. In order to execute safe event, the event organizer will enforce traffic control in the vicinity of the event.
  • 5. Runners are required to follow the instructions of the event organizer. Otherwise, will be disqualified from the participation in the event.
  • 6.To prevent accidents, the following are prohibited because of the danger of contact with runners and falls.
    • (1) To stop suddenly or change their path at the start of the race.
    • (2) To change your path or suddenly stop on the course to take photos or respond to roadside cheering.
    • (3) To block the sounds around you by using earphones or headphones.
  • 7. The course is certified by the JAAF, AIMS and World Athletics.
    We will not accept any claims against the course measurement or the distance based on personal devices, such as, GPS tracking device.
    Also, you may be disqualified for missing timing mat record and/or if short-cut is discovered.
  • 8. Timing will be conducted using a timing tag attached to the back of the athlete bib.
    While every effort is made to ensure accurate timing and record collection, the timing system may be affected by various external and environmental factors. As a result, the 100% successful measurement of all times cannot be guaranteed.
  • 9. There are designated cut-off points and cut-off times for traffic control, security, and race operations.
    Participants who fail to pass a cut-off point by the designated time will be required to discontinue the race. In addition, participants who are significantly behind the race pace at any point on the course may also be required to discontinue the race at the discretion of race officials.
    • * Please refer to the Runner Guide for details of the cut-off point locations and cut-off times.
  • 10. The organizers reserve the right to publish and control the images, photographs, articles, records, location information, runners' names, ages, sex, and addresses (country, prefecture, or ward) that include the runners' appearance during the race on TV, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, etc.
    The organizer may provide such information to the Tokyo Marathon 2024 co-sponsors, managing organization, operation support, beneficiary organizations of the organizers'charity programs, supporting organizations, official partners, as well as to various media for the purpose of compiling record rankings, etc., and the runners hereby consent to such use.
  • 11. The event organizer, in recognition of the importance of protecting personal data, abides to all laws and ordinances concerning the protection of personal data, and adheres to the event organizer's privacy policy when handling personal data.
  • 12. Medical first aid services provided at the Tokyo Marathon will be as follows.
    • 12-1) Medical stations will be open only during the period when each medical station is open.
      • * Start medical station will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (provisional)
      • * Medical stations on the course will operate from the time the first runner passes until approximately 15 minutes after the last runner has passed.
      • * The period of opening hours are provisional and subject to change. The closing time may also change depending on usage.
    • 12-2) The scope of medical care at the medical station in the finish area is limited to the general regulation area and runners along the runner flow line designated by the organizer.
      • * General regulation areas and runner traffic lines will be published in the Runner Guidebook.
    • 12-3) The organizer will take appropriate measures to deal with injuries and illnesses during the event to the extent possible on site.
    • 12-4) If necessary, the patient will be transported to a hospital by ambulance or rescue vehicle. (Medical fees at the hospital will be borne by the patient.)
      Please note that if the patient refuses to be transported to a hospital, we may ask for the patient's consent in writing as a record of the patient's "refusal to be transported based on the patient's own will".
    • 12-5) In the event of an injury or illness occurring during participation in the race, condolence or hospital visitation benefits may be provided as follows:
      Death Condolence Payment: JPY 5,000,000, Hospitalization Allowance: JPY 4,000 per day, Outpatient Treatment Allowance: JPY 2,000
      • * A medical certificate (original copy) issued by a physician is required to claim these benefits. These benefits do not constitute medical or treatment expense insurance.
      • * Medical expenses can be extremely high if runners residing outside Japan receive medical treatment or are hospitalized in Japan. In many cases, the event's condolence/payment coverage is not sufficient to cover these medical costs.
      • * Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal travel and medical insurance that provides adequate coverage for injuries or illnesses that may occur while participating in a marathon event overseas.
    • 12-6) If the patient is transported to a hospital, we will be requesting the hospital to provide information on medical records.
    • 12-7) During first aid responses, lifesaving activities will be given the highest priority and may be handled by the opposite sex.
      (Such as use of AED, chest compressions, and treatment at first aid stations.)
    • 12-8) Participants are requested to complete the emergency information section on the back of their athlete bib. This information may be extremely valuable in the event that emergency medical treatment is required.

Race Regulations

* These Terms and Conditions have been drafted in Japanese and translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese version and any translated version, the provisions and interpretation of the Japanese version shall prevail.

The event organizer will not permit the participation in the event who is in violation of the event regulations, laws/regulations, or public order and morals, as well as the prohibitions specified in the following examples 1 through 12.
If any of these are applicable to the participant, the event organizer will not allow the participant to join the race or prevent the participant from continuing the race, even after the start of the event.
Any objection against its judgement will not be accepted.

  • 1. Dressed in clothing or wearing a gear that may be dangerous, hurtful or cause other runners to fall; and/or running with the whole part of the face covered.
  • 2. Dressed inappropriately for a sports event or in clothing that is unpleasant to other participants or spectators.
  • 3. Clothing for the purpose of political or religious assertions or propaganda, as well as advertising.
  • 4. Clothing for the purpose of promoting or advertising an individual name, a specific region or an organization that the event organizer does not acknowledge.
  • 5. Use of articles that could cause other participants to mistakenly recognize as a starting signal and cause confusion to the race management, or use of a devices with strong sound volume that may disturb others.
  • 6. Acts that causes a delay to the start of the event, such as, dancing, performance, playing instruments, standing near the start or finish lines, or in the streets along the course.
  • 7. Soliciting monetary contributions, signatures, etc.
  • 8. Preventing pedestrians from crossing the course or obstructing the passage of emergency vehicles at certain points, when and where they are allowed to do so.
  • 9. Obstructing the race by failing to follow the instructions by the race officials and referees.
  • 10. Bringing a guide runner not approved by the event organizer. Also, guide/support animal is not allowed.
  • 11. Changing clothes in undesignated locations and/or urinating or defecating at places other than toilet facilities.
  • 12. Occurrence of affair other than those listed in numbers 1 through 11 that the event organizer determine inappropriate for the event.

Entry Regulations

* These Terms and Conditions have been drafted in Japanese and translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese version and any translated version, the provisions and interpretation of the Japanese version shall prevail.

Applicants who cannot observe the below regulations and all other regulations/rules set forth by the event organizer will be rejected in the entrant selection (or disqualified even after the event fee payment/race participation), and no refund will be made. Moreover, applicants will never be allowed to participate in our future races.

  • 1. When you complete your entry, the "My Entry" page will be created automatically. Entry status, entry result, event fee payment, and issuance of Runner Guidebook and Finisher Certificate will be available on the "My Entry". Note, the "My Entry" page created for this event is scheduled to be deleted in late May 2027.
  • 2. A duplicate application for the race entry by the same applicant is prohibited. Also duplicate entry for the ONE TOKYO Premium Member Entry, ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member Entry, General Entry and Semi-Elite Entry is not allowed. If duplicate entry is discovered, the entry will be voided and the event fee you already paid will not be refunded.
    In case a chargeback is executed due to a claim to your credit card company, all benefits obtained, including entry tickets from ONE TOKYO Premium Member Entry, ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member Entry, General Entry, the Second Draw, and next event entry tickets won in virtual events, will be invalidated retroactively from the beginning of the annual membership.
  • 3. ONE TOKYO three consecutive unsuccessful member challenge is also eligible to ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member.
    The drawing for ONE TOKYO GLOBAL member will be conducted starting from "Tokyo Marathon 2028."
    For the Tokyo Marathon 2028, applicants must enter as a ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member and must have been unsuccessful in three consecutive applications for the Tokyo Marathon 2025, 2026 and 2027.
    • * Even if you are a ONE TOKYO GLOBAL member, you will not be eligible for the drawing if you have not made a simple entry as a ONE TOKYO GLOBAL member (the three most recent races and Tokyo Marathon 2028).
    • * You must remain a ONE TOKYO GLOBAL member continuously for the three most recent races and the race you want to apply for.
  • 4. Under the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Green Mileage Program, $1 is donated to environmental conservation and other related initiatives for every mile (approximately 1.6 km) run.
    Participants who choose to support this program in connection with Tokyo Marathon 2027 shall make an additional donation of $26, equivalent to the full marathon distance of 42.195 km (26 miles), at the time of payment.
    Donations collected through this program will be used for environmental conservation and other related initiatives.
  • 5. False name, date of birth, sex, nationality, residing address, and race records are strictly prohibited. Please carefully check your registered information for they are not allowed to be changed or canceled after submission, excluding the items that can be modified on the "My Entry".
  • 6. Participants who declare an estimated finish time of 3:00:00 or faster at the time of entry are required to upload a finisher certificate or official record verifying that they have achieved one of the following results at an event held between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026. The submission method and deadline will be announced at a later date.
    - Marathon : Within 3:00:00
    - Half Marathon : Within 1:25:00
    * For marathons, a finisher certificate or official record that includes a split time at the half point will also be accepted.
    * The course of the event from which the record was obtained is not required to be certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF).
    * Records measured solely by running apps, GPS watches, or similar devices will not be accepted.
    *A screenshot or image of race result records is also acceptable.
    * If any falsification, fraudulent information, or deficiencies are identified in the submitted documents, or if the required documents are not submitted, participant may be assigned to start from a rear corral.
    * If multiple records are submitted, only the most recently submitted finisher certificate or official record will be used for verification.
    * Accepted file formats are JPEG and PDF. The maximum file size is 10 MB.
  • 7. The organizer will not be held responsible for any late entry due to error caused by certain PCs, browsers, operating systems and/or poor Internet connectivity.
  • 8. Email delivery check for the registered email address will not be conducted. Note, the organizer will not be responsible for any inconvenience or loss due to trouble with the device (malfunction), system/email setting, failure to receive email and/or change in email address.
    • * Please make sure to update your email address through the My Entry in case of address change. Depending on the situation, the My Entry may not be accessible. In that case, please directly contact the entry desk.
  • 9. Entry desk and administration office will not accept any questions regarding entry status and/or entry result. Please refer to the "My Entry" page for your entry result status.
  • 10. Applicants who fail to pay the event fee and other required fee by the designated date will have their entries cancelled automatically, and will not be allowed to participate in the race. Putting the right of entry or the race bib for sale or auction is strictly prohibited. Any participant guilty of breaching this rule will be disqualified, and the event fee (including donation) will not be refunded.
  • 11. Only Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd., our official partner, and its partner travel agencies are authorized to sell Tokyo Marathon tour packages that include entry rights. Entries through any other travel agencies are not allowed. If discovered, the entry will be voided and the event fee (including donations) will not be refunded.
  • 12. No one other than the applicant themselves (substitute runner, transfer of rights) is allowed to run in the race. Runners must register in person with photo ID during the three-day registration period prior to the race (during runner registration hours). If you do not register during this period, you will be unable to participate in the race.
  • 13. Participants in the disability division must present a valid photo ID as well as a physical disability certificate or other proof of disability.
    * Certificate issued by official organizations is also acceptable.
  • 14. For security and to prevent unauthorized entries, we'll take measures such as requiring runners to wear wristbands at the time of packet pick up (to be worn until the finish line)
    • * Be sure to check the details in the Runner Guidebook
    Participants are strongly encouraged to carry a smartphone and a transportation IC card during the race in case the event is suspended or cancelled after the start.
  • 15. For Tokyo Marathon 2027, baggage check service on race day will be available for an additional fee. Participants who wish to use the baggage check service must apply for it at the time of entry. Please note that requests to add, cancel, or change baggage check arrangements cannot be accepted after entry has been completed.
    * Except in the event of intentional or gross negligence, the organizer shall not be held in any way responsible for any loss or damage.
  • 16. Entry Gate, and Starting Corral cannot be requested for change for any reasons, and no exceptions accepted.
  • 17. If the decision is made to cancel the marathon, event fees may be refunded and participants may have their entries deferred, depending on the timing of the decision and the reason for the cancellation. Details are as follows.
    Payment will only be available by the payment processing service specified by the organizer, and handling fees, etc., will be deducted from the refund amount.
    • * Please note that an account with the payment processing service will be required. We appreciate your understanding.
    • 17-1. A refund will be issued if the reason for the cancellation of the event is as indicated below.
      • 17-1.1. Cancellation due to snowstorm, flood due to heavy rain, building destruction due to strong wind, lightning strike, tornado, and/or fire along or near the course, causing course blockage.
      • 17-1.2. In addition to 17-1.1. above, cancellation due to a physical phenomenon that would make it impossible to guarantee safe running on the course, resulting in police authorities issuing a request that the event be canceled.
      • 17-1.3. Cancellation due to earthquake within Japan.
      • 17-1.4. Cancellation due to the J-ALERT
    • 17-2. If the event is canceled for any of the reasons in 17-1. above, refunding and deferred entry will be performed as indicated below.
      • 17-2.1. If the event is canceled by September 7, 2026.
      •  17-2.1.1. 70% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-2.1.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-2.2. If the event is canceled by December 7, 2026.
      •  17-2.2.1. 50% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-2.2.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-2.3. If the event is canceled by February 7, 2027.
      •  17-2.3.1. 20% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-2.3.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-2.4. If the event is canceled between February 8, 2027, and the starting gun time (9:05 a.m.) on March 7, 2027.
      •  17-2.4.1. 100% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-2.4.2. Entries will not be deferred.
    • 17-3. If a cancellation request is received from a government agency(excluding police authorities), or if the event is canceled for a reason not indicated in 17-1. above (including cancellation due to war/terrorism and/or communicable disease), the following will apply.
      • 17-3.1. If the event is canceled by September 7, 2026.
      •  17-3.1.1. 70% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-3.1.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-3.2. If the event is canceled by December 7, 2026.
      •  17-3.2.1. 50% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-3.2.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-3.3. If the event is canceled by February 7, 2027.
      •  17-3.3.1. 20% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-3.3.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-3.4. If the event is canceled between February 8 and February 21, 2027.
      •  17-3.4.1. 10% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-3.4.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-3.5. If the event is canceled between February 22 and February 28, 2027.
      •  17-3.5.1. 5% of the subject amount will be refunded.
      •  17-3.5.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
      • 17-3.6. If the event is canceled between March 1, 2027, and the starting gun time (9:05 a.m.) on March 7, 2027.
      •  17-3.6.1. The event fee will not be refunded.
      •  17-3.6.2. Entries will be deferred to Tokyo Marathon 2028 or Tokyo Marathon 2029.
  • 18. Those who wish to withdraw from the race due to their own pregnancy or childbirth may have their race entry rights transferred to a future event only if they agree to the conditions, requirements, and precautions applicable to the transfer of such rights.
    In addition to the transfer procedures, further details regarding the applicable conditions and precautions will be provided separately. Participants wishing to request a transfer must contact the Entry Center by Wednesday, March 3, 2027.
    This provision applies only to the participant who is pregnant or has given birth and does not apply to a spouse, partner, or any other third party.

    • Conditions to be transferred
    • ① Documents about pregnancy or childbirth are required to be submitted.
    • ② The event fee and other expenses for Tokyo Marathon 2027 are not refunded. Also, you are required to pay them again at the event you're transferred.
    • ③ To be transferred is limited to one time only, for any reason. Also, you're not allowed to change the event you are transferred
    • ④ The event to be transferred is either Tokyo Marathon 2028, 2029 or 2030.
    • * To be transferred due to illness or injury is not acceptable.
  • 19. Violation of the rules, and withdrawal of the entry at the participants' discretion do not qualify for a refund. There is no entry deferral or special treatment for a future event.(Except for pregnancy or childbirth)
    Excess or duplicate event fee payments will be refunded, minus the handling fee.
