I am unable to log in to My Page.

A

To log in to My Entry, you will need your e-mail address and password.
*You will find your initial password in the e-mail sent to you upon entry.
If you have forgotten your password, you can use the password reset function. To reset your password, click here.

How to reset:
1. Select "Forgot Password?"
2. Enter the e-mail address you registered at the time of entry.
  We will send you an e-mail with the URL of the website where you can reset your password.
3. After you click on the URL, your password will be initialized and a new password will be automatically created.
4. An e-mail with the new password will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
5. Please log in again from My Entry.

I would like to modify my entry information.

A

You can change your entry information from the "My Entry" page.
To make any changes, visit https://myentry.onetokyo.org/login.
*Please note that changing information may not be possible in some cases. We appreciate your understanding.

I haven't received any notification emails from the Tokyo Marathon.

A

Please check if it hasn't been sorted into the spam/junk folder. Also, please verify the following domain reception settings;

Can multiple applicants use the same e-mail address?

A

Please use only one email address for your application. Multiple applications from the same person will be considered invalid.

How old must I be to participate?

A

Marathon: 19 years of age or older.
10.7km (Junior & Youth): ages between 16 through 18.
10.7km (Visually Impaired, Intellectually Impaired, Organ Transplant Recipient, Wheelchair): 16 years of age or older.

Q

I am a Japanese citizen living abroad. Can I either choose to enter through Japanese or English entry page?

A

No, regardless of the nationality, if you live outside of Japan please enter through the English entry site.
You may be requested to present your ID to prove that you live overseas at Packet Pick-up.

Q

I live in Japan and am wondering if I can apply through the English entry website?

A

Foreign residents who do not speak Japanese may apply, but if you are able to read Japanese, please apply through the Japanese website. Please note that applicants using the English website will be considered overseas entries and are required to pay the overseas entry fee (marathon: 160 USD, 10.7km: 60 USD).

I am US federal employee (Navy, Army, etc.) stationed in Japan. Which home address should I register?

A

Please register the residing address in Japan.

Is the 10.7km race available for everyone who are over 18 years old?

A

No. Please refer to the Race Information.

Q

Are there any marathon race categories for participants with disabilities?

A

There are no specific categories for runners with disabilities (excluding wheelchair users), but entry is available to them like all other participants. Runners with disabilities who find it difficult to run alone should indicate that they will need a guide runner. Please note that guide or support animals are not allowed.

If I wish to participate in the wheelchair division, how should registered members of disability sports organizations apply?

A

The required entry information differs for the 10.7km wheelchair race, wheelchair marathon, and elite wheelchair marathon. For the 10.7km wheelchair race and wheelchair marathon, there is no option to register as part of a sports organization. However, elite wheelchair athletes must indicate their affiliation with an organization or federation. For more detailed information, please refer to the Entry Regulations. Specific details regarding the elite wheelchair category will be announced in December 2023 (subject to change), and registration will commence thereafter.

I have several names, which should I enter?

A

Please enter the name on your passport.

Can I change my personal information after submitting application?

A

No, personal information such as name and date of birth cannot be changed. Please ensure that you enter the event while abiding by all regulations. As for registered information that can be updated, please refer to the 'My Entry'.

Q

Can I switch from the 10.7km to the full marathon, and vice versa, after I have entered?

A

No changes can be made after you have submitted your entry.

Q

What happens if the number of entries exceeds the capacity?

A

Participants will be chosen by drawing if the capacity has reached.

Q

If you conduct a drawing, when will we be informed of the results?

A

We will send a notification email to all entrants to inform that the result is available on the "My Entry". Please check your My Entry once you receive the notification email.

Q

When and how should I pay the event fee?

A

The event fee payment will be available through the 'My Entry'. Please note that payment can only be made using a credit card and/or specified online financial services. It is important to complete the payment to finalize your entry. If we do not receive confirmation of your payment by the deadline, your entry will be void.

Will last year's lottery results have any impact on this year's lottery results?

A

No.

I participated as a volunteer last year. Will my application be given priority?

A

No.

Can I carry over my entry until next year?

A

No, carrying over of entries is not permitted under any circumstances.

Q

If I am unable to participate on the day of the marathon, am I allowed to have someone run in my place?

A

Substitute runners are not permitted. Any participant running under a false name will be disqualified.

Q

Does no baggage-check or requirement of smartphone apply to me, even if I am a Tokyo Marathon 2020 deferred entry?

A

You will be subject to it. Paid baggage check-in on the day of the event will be available from Monday, June 26th to Monday, July 31st, 2023. Please select your preference through the 'Entry Information Confirmation/Update' in My Entry. If you do not apply during this period, there will be 'no baggage check-in' option, and changes cannot be made, so please keep this in mind.

Can I apply for entry by phone?

A

No, entry via phone, application form, or feature phone is not possible. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly request that you make your entry using a computer or smartphone.

I would like to enter with my guide runner. How do I apply?

A

You can request to register a guide runner upon entry. Those who have requested a guide runner will receive further information after their entry is confirmed. Please note that guide or support animals are not allowed.

This is my first marathon, so I do not have a past record time or know my predicted finish time.

A

Only those who have experienced marathon events in the past should fill in a best time. Otherwise, please leave the "best time" box blank. Please fill in your predicted time based on your running ability.

I have not received any emails confirming my entry to the 2024 event, what should I do?

A

After initially registering your email address on our entry page, you should have received an email explaining how to complete your entry for the Tokyo Marathon 2024. If you did not receive this email, it means that your entry is incomplete.

Please check the following to identify the problem:
・Did you press the 'send' button after registering your email address?
・Is the registered email address correct?
・Have you checked the trash or spam folder?
・Have you checked the incoming email settings?
・Have you checked the security settings?
・Have you checked the spam settings?

Please note that the network environment can also be a factor in the issue. If the problem persists, please try registering again using a different email address. We also recommend adjusting your system settings to receive emails from the following domains: '@onetokyo.org' and '@tokyo42195.org'.

Is there any way to confirm that I have completed my entry correctly?

A

You can check through "My Entry" page that will be automatically generated upon the completion of the entry.

Q

I did not receive the email with the lottery results.

A

We will send an email with instructions on how to check the lottery results to all participants who entered. Please check your spam folder to ensure that the email has not been filtered. Also, please verify your email settings and security settings. You can view the lottery results by accessing 'My Entry,' where they will be automatically generated upon completion of the entry registration.

If I haven't received the Athlete Bib Exchange Voucher document, what should I do?

A

There will be no e-mailing of the Athlete Bib Exchange Voucher. It will be issued as a web voucher from the 'My Entry' page.

Do I need to make payment upon entry application?

A

No, you will not be required to make payment upon entry application. You will receive a notification to make the payment within the specified period, following the official entry selection.

Can I enter to multiple categories?

A

No, multiple entries for the event are not allowed. If it is discovered that you have registered for multiple entry categories, your entry will be revoked, and the entry fee will not be refunded if discovered after payment. Additionally, please note that you cannot transfer your entry to a third party.

Is there a restriction on carrying in liquid on the race day?

A

Please check the Runner Handbook, which will be provided in mid-February 2024, for information regarding the bringing of liquids for the 2024 event.

When is the Runners exclusive goods sales schedule?

A

We will start seles only for the runners who are selected to 2024 race and schedules are below;

Where do I pick-up my checked-in baggage?

A

Starting from Tokyo Marathon 2023, a baggage check-in fee will be applicable. The designated pick-up location will be provided in the Runner Handbook.

Can I apply for baggage check-in?

A

If you wish to use the baggage check-in service on race day, please select "Check baggage" in the "Paid baggage storage on the day of the event" option at the entry. Please note that changes cannot be made after entry is completed.

Runners who deferred their entry to the Tokyo Marathon 2024 :
If you would like to use our baggage check-in service [from overseas - 10 USD will be charged], please select this option in the "review" and update registered information of the My Entry page by July 31, 2023.
If you do not apply by July 31, 2023 (JST), you will not be allowed to check-in your baggage and no changes will be made.

Where will the Packet Pick-up be held?

A

Runner registration (Athlete Bibs pick-up) will take place at Tokyo Big Sight South Exhibition Hall.

What is a valid ID for personal verification?

Will you using the helth-management App this year?

A

We are not use the health-management App. on the Tokyo Marathon 2024.

Will there be a Packet Pick-up on other days of the EXPO?

Can I run with someone starting from a different corral/wave?

A

No.

Why is the entry fee different for Japanese and oversea?

A

The entry fee for oversea entries is higher due to costs incurred for translation and more.

Q

What is the name of the closest train station near the starting area?

A

Shinjuku Station and Nishi-Shinjuku Station. Further details will be announced as the event date approaches.

Which hotel is best to stay in Tokyo/Japan?

A

For assistance with finding lodging in Tokyo, please contact the Tokyo Marathon Hotel Reservation Desk at KINTETSU INTERNATIONAL (Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd.). You can reach them via email at tm-entrydesk@or.knt.co.jp or by phone at +81-3-6891-9417.

Their office hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. You can also reach them via fax at +81-3-6891-9409.

Will there be a Family Meeting Spot at the finish?

A

Please check the Runner Handbook which is scheduled to be provided in mid-February.

I am running as Semi-Elite, can I bring in a personal drink?

A

No. Personal drink is specifically allowed only for the Elite division.

Q

Where can I purchase official event goods?

A

Yes, it will be available at the EXPO and through an online store. However, online store is only available in Japanese and the shipping is limited within Japan.

When can I see the race results?

A

After the race, it is planned to be searchable on the official event website (this website). (Preliminary results and finishers only)

I want to run as a chairty runner, how can I apply?

A

Tokyo Marathon 2024 will be accepting applications for 5,000 charity runners.

Q

Can I make a donation for the Charity?

A

Donation and Charity Runner application for the Tokyo Marathon 2023 will be available from June 26.If you wish to be a charity runner, please check the application page of the charity program (organization) to which you wish to donate and submit your entry.

How do I choose an official charity program?

A

Visit the official website of the Tokyo Marathon 2024 Official Website (Charity page) and select the charity you would like to donate from the 40 charity programs listed on the page.

The selection of the charity organization can be made on the Official Website Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity "RUN with HEART" charity special page, which will open at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26. The page will be announced in the news section of the official website of the marathon.

If we aren't selected by the charity, do they still keep the donation money?

A

Only after the selection process, those who are selected by the charity will actually make a donation. if you are not selected, you do not need to make a donation.

I am already registered as Charity Runner, but can I make a new donation?

A

Applications for donation will be accepted until August 31 (Thu), 2023.

I applied for the Tokyo Marathon 2024 Charity (Donation-only), but I am not receiving automatic confirmation email.

Check the following if you have not received donation confirmation e-mail:

・Are you using a work or school e-mail address that filters out certain types of e-mails?
・What are your security settings for e-mail?

Are donations tax-deductible?

A

Individual donations are eligible for income deductions and tax credits. If you donated as a legal entity, tax deduction may not be applicable depending on the donation amount. Please contact the tax office for more information.
