■Runner Support for Tokyo Marathon 2027
As part of the Tokyo Marathon 20th Anniversary project, “Support for 100% Race Completion,” Tokyo Marathon 2027 plans to utilize “WWS (Workout Well-being Scorer)” provided by Netwell System Corporation, a Supporting Partner, to help participating runners monitor their physical condition as they prepare for the race.
WWS allows users to use the camera on a PC, tablet, or smartphone to capture an image of their face for approximately 30 seconds and displays estimated health indicators such as heart rate and stress levels. The service can be used to support day-to-day condition management.
It is also intended to serve as a self-checking tool for runners to monitor their condition during the training period and help them participate in the race without overexerting themselves.
Details regarding how to use the service will be announced once finalized.
