TOKYO MARATHON 2026 was held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, welcoming approximately 39,000 runners from Japan and around the world.

We are excited to share the “TOKYO MARATHON 2026 VOLUNTEER MOVIE | Behind the Scenes of the Volunteers Supporting the Race,” featuring the incredible activities of the approximately 10,000 volunteers whose smiles and hospitality helped make the event such a success.
Alongside the movie, we are also sharing memorable photos of the volunteers in action!
Tokyo Marathon volunteers are truly symbolic of the race’s spirit of hospitality.
From junior volunteers in elementary and junior high school to global volunteers from around the world, they warmly supported runners, spectators, and everyone involved in the event from start to finish.
