Provision of “Workout Well-Being Scorer” (WWS) - Service to Monitor Vital Signs without Physical Contact

2025/12/10

We will introduce a health check service called “Workout Well-Being Scorer” (WWS), which monitors vital signs without physical contact, for the Tokyo Marathon 2026, as a part of our health management support, to ensure runners feel safe and comfortable in participating in the event.

WWS allows users to capture their faces using a smartphone, personal computer, or table camera for about 30 seconds and scores an estimated value of health conditions such as heart rate and stress levels.  With this service, they can manage their health conditions. It can be also used as a self-checking tool for them to monitor their conditions during a training period for a race as well as for them to participate in a sports event in a good physical condition.

※This service is for a voluntary use and registration is not required.
※The organizer does not provide any personal data and will not acquire any registered personal data.
※With the consent of participants, the collected data will be accumulated as statistical information that does not identify individuals and will be utilized for future event management to support safe and stable operations.

Service provision date:
It will be accessible from December 10, 2025. If you are interested in the service, please access through “Helpful Links for Runners” in My Entry.

With this initiative, we will promote and create an environment where runners can feel safe and comfortable and enjoy running.
