As part of our campaign celebrating the many “human connection stories” that have emerged from the Tokyo Marathon—from the runners, the volunteers, to the supporters—we are excited to launch the Interview Relay 2nd RUN special website.
We will be collecting stories from the public and selecting 20 memorable episodes that highlight meaningful connections born through the Tokyo Marathon. Among the submissions, 10 storytellers whose episodes most beautifully capture the spirit of human connection will be awarded an entry to the 20th edition of the Tokyo Marathon in 2027, courtesy of our official partners.
■ Concept: What is Interview Relay 2nd RUN?
The Tokyo Marathon is “The Day We Unite.”
It is a truly special day where stories from runners, volunteers, supporters, and event staff intersect to create an unforgettable experience.
This campaign shines a light on the bonds and encounters born on this day. By sharing these stories widely, we aim not only to boost excitement for the Tokyo Marathon 2026, but also to carry this spirit into our landmark 20th edition in 2027 and beyond.
