Tokyo Marathon 2026 Event Outline

The Tokyo Marathon 2026 will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with a total of 39,000 participants: 38,500 in the full marathon—an increase of 1,000 from the previous event—while the 10.7 km race remains unchanged at 500 participants.

Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2026

Prior to the race, the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2026, one of the largest trade shows in Japan, will be held over three days from Thursday, February 26 to Saturday, February 28, at Tokyo Big Sight.
Exhibitor applications for general companies will open on Wednesday, August 20 at 2:00 p.m.
