We aim to create an event where everyone involved can reflect on themselves and experience personal growth.“One” represents both coming together as a collective, and each irreplaceable individual.This idea is at the heart of our message: “Run. Tokyo. Own. —.”At the Tokyo Marathon Foundation, the organizer of this event, our mission is to “Change the future, through the joy of running.”Through the Tokyo Marathon and our many related initiatives, we are committed to creating a better environment centered on running and sport.As a member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, Tokyo Marathon 2026 respects the diversity and identity of every participant and strives to be the most open and inclusive marathon in the world.In addition, as part of our commitment to sustainability through sport, we will further promote environmentally responsible event operations.
